Michael Palin To Launch Film Feast Festival

In October we are hosting our first ever film festival, Film Feast Suffolk, which will screen feature films, documentaries and short films from all around the world on the subject of food and drink.

The festival is a fringe event of the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival and will also involve pop-up screenings at our partner cafes in town - The Fire Station, The Tea Hut and Honey & Harvey.

At the end of each day a three-course meal from one of our feature films screened will be recreated at our partner restaurants - The Riverside, The Table and The Galley.

To launch our festival we are delighted that the British comedian, actor, writer and television presenter, Michael Palin, will be joining us on Thursday 2nd August for a Q&A and a screening of his 1984 film, A PRIVATE FUNCTION, preceded by a specially prepared three-course meal in our restaurant that has been inspired by the film.

This event has now sold out!

Our full programme for Film Feast Suffolk in October, and tickets for each event and screening, will go on sale from Monday July 9th via our new festival website and The Riverside website.
