A famous thief in his younger years, 77 year old widower Brian Reader (Sir Michael Caine) puts together a band of misfit criminals to plot an unprecedented burglary at the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit. The thieves, all in their 60s and 70s except for one, employ their old-school skills to plan the job. They pull off of the biggest heist in British history, getting away with £200 million worth of jewels and goods, but the cracks between the gang members begin to show as they row over how to share the goods and become increasingly distrustful of each other.

Based on true events and with an all star cast including Sir Michael Caine, Sir Michael Gambon, Sir Tom Courtenay, paul Whitehouse, Jim Broadbent, Ray Winstone and Charlie Cox.
