Meet the Author with Catherine Larner

Bestselling novelists, tv and radio stars, historians, politicians, sportspeople, or new and emerging writers, this wide-ranging programme of author visits is arranged and hosted by Catherine Larner, a freelance journalist and presenter who has been running book groups and events in the town since 2008.

At the Riverside over the years, Catherine has been in conversation with tv presenter Dan Snow, former MP Alan Johnson, the Reverend Richard Coles, Griff Rhys Jones, creator of the Grantchester novels and tv series James Runcie, and writer Alexander McCall Smith.

These on stage conversations last an hour - with the opportunity, too, for questions from the audience. And tickets include a signed copy of the author’s new book, presented on the day.
